Designed by renowned architect Glenn Sestig, the Coccodrillo store occupies. Blending brutalist volumes with elegant fixtures, the space successfully combines rough and refined, organic and sleek, creating striking contrasts.
Concrete ceiling and floors, as well as transparent walls and metal display units, underline the sharp and masculine feel of its interior, softened by gentle tones and curved furniture made out of soft fabrics and wood. The imposing facade features a soft shade of nude, which complements key tones of sand and gray inside. All elements, fixtures and furniture, wereand the space is entirely transformable, allowing different moods and arrangements to take place. A dramatic staircase unites the two floors, which mix menswear and womenswear lines.
Addressing the needs of a new clientèle -not concerned with materialism, but keen on great experiences- Coccodrillo places craft and knowledge at the core of its raison d'être. A repair atelier allows customers to get their beloved shoes reshaped, while private workshops organized by selected brands insist on the educational and sharing aspects of true luxury.
